Donate
We are accepting donations to TWO wonderful causes. On this page, you will find specific instructions pertaining to how you may donate
Gather all the items from the Manifest List (see main event page) and deliver them to CommUnity Crisis Services and Food Bank, located at 1045 Highway 6 East (Pepperwood Plaza) in Iowa City on Monday, November 20th, between 12pm and 4:30pm. 12pm is preferable so that we can get an actual weight count of all items at the end as well as have volunteers ready to handle all the donations at once. Alternatively, if you wish to donate money in person, this is another great time to do so.
Can't make the drop-off time? No problem! You can drop off your donations anytime at your own convenience and during CommUnity's hours of operations. Out of respect for the staff working during the flu season, we strongly recommend you wear a face mask at the time of your donation drop-off.

FINANCIAL DONATIONS: Financial donations often go a lot further as they help support the organization directly where they can allocate the money to where it is needed most.

- For CommUnity, this allows them to buy large quantities of many foods in bulk. $20 helps one family beat the heat with a box fan; $25 provides a family with food for a week.
- For Table to Table, it helps support their core mission: keeping wholesome, edible food from going to waste by collecting it from donors and distributing to those in need. Every $1 they receive yields nearly $17 of impact as they distribute the food they rescue.
